The official Alfred & Jakobine DVD is now available ( in both NTSC and PAL formats* )

In addition to the film itself, the dual-layer DVD (that means lots of room for extras)  is packed with special features including:

4 deleted scenes never seen before

19 minutes of original radio interviews with Alfred and Jakobine in Africa in the mid/late 1950s, including:
- the story of how Alfred and Jakobine met
- the story of  how they got their old London taxi
- and an incredible story of being captured by gunmen in Morocco, and thrown into cells in a desert fortress

45 minutes of  film archive not seen in the film including:
- comprehensive 8mm and 16mm footage shot by A&J during their travels
- a beautiful b/w film of Jakobine creating a sculpture from the early 1950s
- a groovy film of Jakobine's body art and chain mail clothing from the 1960s
- a quirky VHS recording of Jakobine teaching how to felt from the 1980s
